New Array of Perpetual Memorial Trophies Presented at the 2008 IFSHA World & Grand National Championships Show

This past year, IFSHA as an organization and its membership mourns the passing of these model IFSHA Members. In order to honor their memory, their contributions to IFSHA & the Friesian Breed in recognized competition, New Perpetual Trophies were presented at the 2008 IFSHA World & Grand National Championships. Each presentation described in order of their untimely passing. Dr. Genevieve de Montremare, Ms. Anita Mellott, Mr. James Mosebrook, and Ms. Pamela Jackson.

Dr. Genevieve De Montremare Memorial - Awarded to and will continue to be awarded to the best offspring presented In-hand of the following Friesian sires brought into the United States by Dr. De Montremare; Anne 340, Bonne 341, Melle 311, Yk, and Wicher 334.

Anita Mellott Memorial - Awarded to and will continue to be awarded to the driving horse with the highest amount of driving points accumulated in one competition, The IFSHA World & Grand National Championships Show. In memory of her passion for carriage pleasure and competitive driving.

Mr. James Mosebrook

James Mosebrook Memorial - Awarded to and will continue to be awarded to the high point winner in the National Champion USDF Musical Freestyle Test conducted at the IFSHA World and Grand National Championships, thus representing Jim's passion of the Friesian horse shown in USDF Musical Freestyle.

2008 Recipient: Ate Vander M, Owned by: Sandra Granquist (MI) with Anne Zaharias to ride.

Ms. Pamela Jackson

Pamela Jackson Memorial - Awarded to and will continue to be awarded to the winner of the IFSHA World Champion Friesian Saddle Seat Pleasure Junior Horse class, at the IFSHA World and Grand Nationals. Representing Pamela's passion in the developing the young horse in the discipline of Saddle seat.
